Entry Instructions
Entry Forms due no later than: August 1, 2008
- Please print in ink
- A maximum of 5 entries will be accepted per person.
(Should more quilts be needed the show committee will notify the membership.)
- A color photograph and form for each entry is required.
Work in progress photos and computer printouts are acceptable.
Write your name and quilt title on the back of the photograph.
Submit your completed entry package:
- At monthly guild meetings

The Rules
General Information
- Entries are limited to MEMBERS of Alamo Heritage Quilt Guild.
- Quilts will be displayed outside on buildings and hung on rope/nylon cord between trees. Clothes pins and possibly pins will be used to secure quilts.
- We request that you use discretion and not enter heirloom quilts due to the outdoor show.
- Should additional quilts be needed members will be contacted by the show committee.
Quilt Preparation
- The quilt must be labeled in the bottom right hand corner of the back of the quilt (when looking at the back), and must include the name of the quilt and the quilt maker(s).
- The quilt must be fully finished.
- No rigid frames, mounting devices or special lighting may accompany the quilt.
The Quilt Show
- All entries must be available for display on Saturday, October 11th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Delivery Point: Quilts can be delivered to Seventh Heaven Quilt Shop on Tuesday October 7th and Wednesday October 8th between 12:00 noon and 4:30 pm where a member of the Guild will be picking them up and at the General Meeting on Thursday October 9th. Each quilt will be given a number and a claim receipt will be given to the owner for quilt pick-up on Saturday, October 11th.
- Quilts will be returned to owners between 5:00 and 6:00 pm at a site to be located at Bracken Village.
Awards
Viewer Choice Awards will be given at the November General Meeting.
